Director Sam Raimi is taking on what will no doubt be one of the most anticipated movies in a LOOONG time.The most popular game in the history of mankind is coming to the big screen at the earliest in 2012. Raimi is bound to the Spiderman 4 contract first, but we think he'll be able to do wonders with this fantasy land, since he has some directorial gems under his belt such as The Evil Dead movies and the Spiderman film franchise. Warcraft is in capable hands.
The budget is said to be well over one hundred million dollars. We wouldn't expect any less for a movie like this, since the legions of fans are amongst the most devoted in the world. The filmmakers had better get every little detail right, or the studio will be attacked by mobs of trolls, elves, peasants with firey bows and arrows, etc.
Just kidding, we don't know much about the game, other than it will probably make a kick-arse movie.

Speaking as a hard core (well semi-hardcore) fan, I have great hopes for this movie. And come on, Sam Raimi!!!!!! I am a huge fan of his! Whenever I hear his name as the director, I know it is bound to be great. I'm definitely looking forward to this one. I just hope it doesn't end up with the same sufferance as Dungeons and Dragons (the first one anyway)...
Just you wait... I'm sure filmmakers will do D&D justice in time... and it will knock your socks off!
