Shutter Island

A patient at a hospital for the criminally insane on an island, and U.S. marshals go looking for him. A hurricaine hits and all hell breaks loose.

Great concept. Granted it's not original (based on a 2003 novel), but we think this could have been one of those books that was destined to be a great film. PLUS Scorsese is at the helm, which of course means Leonardo DiCaprio just had to get involved as well. As synical as we are sometimes, we just know this will be a great film. That duo just doesn't make crap.

It also stars Sir Ben Kingsley (busy man lately), Mark Ruffalo, Michelle Williams, and Max Von Sydow (you remember... he was the baddie in Minority Report, 2002). Some great names!

Shutter Island will be released on October 2, 2009. We're looking forward to it. We don't know the whole plot, but if it's supposed to be scary, shouldn't they have called it Shudder Island? Haha oh god, we're so good at this...
