X-Men Origins: Magneto

We're not surprised at all by the news of a new 'Origins' film.

In this prequel, audiences will learn about how Magneto came to be such an ass. Granted, word is his character was in a Nazi concentration camp... so we'd have a chip on our shoulder too.

The film will show us how Mageneto and Xavier met, and how Magneto's anger and lust for revenge turned him into a villain.

Ian McKellen said he would reprise his role with a little digital facelift. We laughed at that, then we remembered they did it for him in the prologue of X-Men: The Last Stand. Wow. We are totally living in the future.


Which reminds me, where the hell is my flying car and moving sidewalk?!

No deets on a release date, but we'll keep our eyes open. As long as our eyes don't shoot lasers. Get it? Cuz Cyclops... nevermind...
