I don't even know what to say here. Words like BORING, or PRETENTIOUS, or AWARD GRUBBING come to mind immediately. WTF, STUPID, and BLAH are up there too.
Restless (2011) is about a termanilly ill gal who falls for some guy who goes to funerals as a leisure activity. Oh, and he also has a Japanese ghost friend. Huh? Ya. Exactly. I can't even believe the names that are involved in this upcoming piece-o-boring-shite - Gus Van Sant, Brian Grazer, Ron Howard - What are they thinking?
Listen, I'm down for a good dramatic film from time to time, but puuuuuhhlease don't feed us this rubbish. Thoughts? Am I wrong? Who's psyched to see this? Watch the trailer then get back to us!

Wow, a respected director and backers with clout and yet this sounds so ludicrous an idea I can't quite comprehend it. Plus I don't know if I'm just pmsy or what but I sort of want to punch the main guy hard. I'm hoping there's more to it than that trailer suggests because it did nothing to take away the "WTF?" feeling.
I can't believe the person who directed Drugstore Cowboy directed this. When he slums, he REALLY slums!
I don't know. It seemed to me to be some sort of very touching relationship about two people. It's original, very..
I like how it opens the way to good character development, which too few movies have these days...
I would probably give it a chance on video...
Honestly, if it isn't a remake of something, then I would actually watch it. The plot may seem kind of, well, effed up and schtoopid, but, hey, like I said, it's *original* which is something Hollywood is extremely lacking lately.
I want to see it at some point. That weird movie feeling usually brings about good films. We shall see.
