I know we're Canadian, but just go with me on this.
Found this hilarious little graphic on Geekologie, and thought it fit our lil' theme of movies over here.
Check out a map of the United States, divided not by names of states, but by which movies took place there.
Kansas is no longer Kansas, but The Wizard of Oz. Texas = No Country For Old Men, Maine = The Shawshank Redemption, and so on.
It's fun. Have a look and see which ones you knew and which ones you didn't!

That map reminds me of Electronic Superhighway by Nam June Paik. It's a big neon structure in the shape of the United States. Different sized TVs are embedded in each state and they are playing whatever is relevant to that state.
It's in an art museum in Washington D.C. I saw it 2 years ago and it was awesome.
OK, so I was about to bitch about how Wayne's World takes place in Aurora, Illinois and not Delaware, but then I remembered...
"Imagine being magically whisked away to...Delaware. Hi, I'm in Delaware."

Wasn't Fargo suppose to take place in Alaska? I would have though filming on location would have been much easier.
