Oh man. I remember seeing this movie when i was 8 or something and it scared the SH!T out of me. I couldn't sleep for days, i didn't want to take a shower, i stopped playing in the sewers. It was just terrible, terrible. Wasn't nearly as scary when i watched it three years ago... still can't go near catch basins though.
