Tantalizing Trivia: The Crow

Stephanie, our newest Cin-Ob Supreme, has requested something from the 1994 classic, The Crow. Good choice, Steph! To our surprise, we hadn't posted anything about this flick yet!

Most movie buffs know the fate of Brendan Lee (son of Bruce Lee) who starred in this film, which turned out to be his last.

For those who don't know, here is some depressing trivia:

While filming during the last weeks of production, Lee was mortally wounded when a dummy bullet, which had become lodged in one of the prop guns, was shot into his abdomen by a squib load. [Wikipedia]

The film was finished using a patchwork of unused footage of Lee. Here is the scene he died to make:

An excellent film.

The soundtrack rocks, and Lee is wonderful in it. So sad not to see him go on to do more.

This is one of those movies, that I, ....have to be... in a certain place to watch.

The soundtrack is so kick ASS, I never get tired of listening to it.
I was pounding the ear drums a few days ago with it.

Michael Wincott is completely underrated in my humble onion.
His parts that he had in Robin Hood, Monte Cristo, Three Musketeers...were great.
