Tantalizing Trivia: I, Robot

The role of Del Spooner, played by Will Smith in I, Robot (2004), was originally offered to Denzel Washington.

He obviously didn't accept, but had he gone for it, it would have been the second time Denz played a previously married police officer who has a bionic left arm (yes, specifically left) whose mission is to hunt down evil rogue robots. He already played that guy in Virtuosity (1995).
