Tantalizing Trivia: South Park: Bigger, Longer, and Uncut

Strangely enough, the filmmakers of the 1999 South Park movie did not legally have to get figure skater Brian Boitano's permission to use him name in the musical number dedicated to him. ("What would Brian Boitano do?")

The legalities DID however come into play years later when Boitano wanted to sell shirts and memorabilia at his skating shows with the phrase on it, and he had to ask the filmmakers for permission to use it.
