I had the absolute pleasure of meeting the one and only Temple Grandin last week. She was in Toronto for the Geneva conference on Autism and I got to hear her speak. She is amazing.
When I heard she was signing books between sessions, I pushed through the crowds eagerly. But I didn't bring one of her many amazing books for her to sign. Noooo. I grabbed my copy of Temple Grandin (2010) and had her sign the cover. Oh happy day!
If you don't know Temple Grandin, she is a top scientists in the humane livestock handling industry. She is brilliant and HBO tells her incredible story with a biopic.
