Ooooh another period piece? I'm a lucky gal!! Let's go back, way back, back into time. Ok, not that far back, but still - a time of pill box hats and suspenders? Sounds good to me!
A drama centered on the awakening of the painter Margaret Keane, her phenomenal success in the 1950s, and the subsequent legal difficulties she had with her husband, who claimed credit for her works in the 1960s. IMDB
Biopics are awesome in our books. We didn't know anything about Ms. Keane until we read about this flick, but we are officially intrigued. We also looove the casting of Kate Hudson to play Margaret. K-Hud can do no wrong. And super bonus, we get to see Thomas Haden Church as Walter Keane.
This may not be a flashy, action-packed film, but we are sure it will satisfy the mellow, drama-lovers in us. What do the Cin-Obs think? Does everyone enjoy a good biopic from time to time?
What's your favie biopic to date?
