A Christmas Carol...Again.

Yet another version! Walt Disney Pictures along with Robert Zemeckis have decided to take Charles Dickens' A Christmas Carol to 3-D heights!

There are several versions of this movie in existence, but somehow we think this one might be a little extra special. You can't mess with the 1951 gem starring Alastair Sim; however, we do enjoy a larf and we wholeheartedly believe Carrey's gonna bring it...Ebenezer style.

Jim Carrey will of course be playing the role of Ebenezer Scrooge, but interestingly enough, will also be taking on the roles of all three ghosts...past, present, and yet to come! There will be a few roles not played by Jimbo...look out for Gary Oldman as Bob Cratchit!

Catch it in theaters November 6, 2009. Just in time for Christmas!

We're not entirely thrilled about the steady stream of remakes, but we'll see it because, well...we can't not see it. We're obsessed. So there.
