Vicky Cristina Barcelona

We looooved this movie.

I, personally, was hesitant going in because I thought Woody Allen was going to make some deep, spiritual movie that was gonna tug on the heart strings and have some profound, intellectual significance (or at least try to). It had a very normal sounding narrator, which was interesting. No Morgan Freeman, or some deep intense voice. Just a regular dude telling you what's goin' on.

If you really look at him, Javier Bardem is almost an ugly man, but he makes you all swoony when watching him in this movie, if you're female I guess. Or you just like you some latino fire - I ain't judging.

All in all, it was pretty light and fun. It's the kind of movie I will re-watch over and over for its simplicity, but fun atmosphere throughout. Penelope Cruz definitely stole the movie with her quirky, crazy character, and the plot was simple - two women on an extended vacation and their experiences in a foreign country, experimenting with love and the unexpected.

Whoa, I was intense there for a moment - sorry about that. Back to the movie.

Here's the trailer for a quick glance at the fun-ness of this movie. Yeah. I said fun-ness.
