The Lost City of Z

Brad Pitt’s Plan B production company and Paramount Pictures have acquired the rights for a 2009 movie based on the bestselling book, which is actually partially based on true events. Very interesting!

Pitt will play Colonel Percy Fawcett, who trekked into the Amazon in the 1920s in search of the fabled lost City of Z. His party never returned, and many explorers have gone in after him to get answers about his disappearance. Few have ever come back. Oooooh! Creepy!

We love jungle adventures, lost cities, searches for treasure, all that good stuff. And with Pitt producing and starring, this is guaranteed to be a great quality film.

We're not quite sure when to expect the release, but we'll keep our compasses pointing toward Brad until we get more details.
