Movie Mistake: Gladiator

Teehee... I guess a lot of things can slip by an editor. Check out this frame, taken from Gladiator (2000).

To the left we can clearly see the tank of compressed gas that was used to flip the chariot during the action sequence. If I were working on production design, I'd at least throw some rags over it. Come on... in these Roman times they didn't have metal tanks, and safety valves, etc. Sounds like I know what I'm talking about doesn't it?

Sheesh, might as well show the Gladiators talking on their cells.
