Sublime Soundtrack: Hercules

Kid's movie aside, a true Cin-Ob knows a good soundtrack from a mile away. And this is what happened with Disney's Hercules (1997).

This was a stand-out soundtrack for us for MANY reasons. The songs had a fun gospel, soul feel to them, which made the movie seem more modern than any previous Disney film had been able to accomplish (while still being set in ancient Greece).

Bless my soul, Herc was on a role! Oooooh this movie makes us jiggle in our seats, we just wanna get up and go HALLELUJAH!

There are also a few beautiful ballads, some great harmonies and SHA LA LAs, and the pièce de resistance... Danny Devito singing. Yes... his own song... in which he says things like "oy vay" and "There goes my ulcer." Hilar to the max.

Check out Disney's bitchiest, most miserable heroine of all time, singing one of the most memorable songs in the film, "I Won't Say I'm In Love."
