Tantalizing Trivia: Liar Liar

In the film Liar Liar (1997) lead character Fletcher Reede chases his son using his hand as the 'claw'. For those of you who saw this movie, you know exactly what the claw is.

Apparently, Carrey's own father used to chase him and his siblings using the 'claw' so he worked it into the movie as a tribute to his dad...

We were excited to learn this tasty bit of trivia since our father did the same thing to us! Is this common? Anyone else get the claw growing up?
