Piranha! Chomp chomp chomp!

The 1978 classic is being remade.. because let's face it, Hollywood is out of new ideas.

Uh huh. Interesting... this could be amazing if done right. If they try to make this into a serious horror film, we're gonna be disappointed. If they go the same route as Lake Placid (1999), wherein the movie pokes fun at its own silliness while still making you jump a few times, we're cool.

If they make it cheesey, it could be great.

Now take a moment to digest the cast of this gem - Elisabeth Shue, Ving Rhames, Richard Dreyfuss, Christopher Lloyd, Jerry O'Connell, Adam Scott (the a-hole brother in StepBrothers), and Dina Meyer (everyone's favourite redhead, Dizzy, in Starship Troopers).

We just hope to god that Dreyfuss gives a throwback to Jaws (1975) and has a line like "I think you're gonna need a bigger hook." Get it? Cuz they're fish...
