YESSS!!! They TOTALLY took our suggestion to heart.

Comedic genius duo Simon Pegg and Nick Frost are pairing up yet again for Paul. Not only are they starring in the film, but they wrote it together! Awww... we smell a bromance!

The guys will be playing comic book geeks (no offence) who take a trip through the United States. On the way they make friends with an alien named Paul... voiced by the one and only Seth Rogen! Yeehaw!


No word if Paul the alien will be CGI, a costume, a robotic device or whatever, but we can bet it will be good.

We'll also see some other hilariooz people such as Jason Bateman, Kristen Wiig, Bill Hader, Joe Lo Truglio, and even a wee bit of Jeffrey "I look like Dr. Phil" Tambor, Sigourney "I heart alien movies" Weaver and Blythe "Gwyneth's mommy" Danner. Sounds like a great cast!

Paul is still in post-prodcution, but they're hoping to release in 2010. We'll be there, Simon and Nick. We know you'll be waiting for us on opening night! *shifty eyes*
