Striking Similarity: Drix vs Hellboy

Exhibit A: Drix, the virus fighting, cold-pill character from Osmosis Jones (2001), with one big red hand that acts as a cannon, shooting out soothing meds.



Exhibit B: Hellboy and his devilishly large, red hand, used to smash down walls and generally whoop the bad guys' arses.

Both characters have a large, unique right appendage. And not to mention, Drix is voiced by David Hyde Pierce, who also voices Abe Sapien in the Hellboy films.
