Oh ya, sure. Grandpa can suddenly walk and dance when Charlie wins the golden ticket. The logical reaction for the mother should have been "Jesus Christ, DAD! I've been washing you and feeding you as if you were a crippled old man, now you get up and do a jig?! Get a friggin' job!"

Also, anyone else find it strange that both sets of grandparents shared one bed?
