Tangled: The Rapunzel Story!

Disney? Wha?? Animated? Huh?? Rapunzel? Booya! Musical? SOLD!

And that was exactly what went through my head when I read this sweet little write-up care of TheMovieInsider:

Angie previously wrote about this upcoming, but as of late, the details have changed, MAJORLY! Different stars and a new release date! We're both super pumped for another Disney flick, although nothing has topped 'The Disney Renaissance' era. This era, which spanned from 1989-1999 gave us such gems as The Little Mermaid (1989), Beauty and the Beast (1991), Aladdin (1992), The Lion King (1994), Hercules (1997) and Mulan (1998)! Some of the Disney animated feature films since have failed to inspire us. They haven't had that lasting power.

Here's what this movie would have to have to really keep me interested:

* A battle scene: FlatIronia vs. Curliopia 

* A wise old brush that speaks only confucious quotes...

* A massive musical number involving singing scissors, clippers, bottles of mousse and hairspray, all led by a hair dryer named Vidal...
