I Love You, Phillip Morris

Anyone who knows me knows that Ewan McGregor is my secret husband. So secret, in fact, that he's unaware of it. He will be one day. *swoooon*

Anyways, I Love You Philip Morris, starring Jim Carrey and my lover as... well... lovers, should be another one of Carrey's dramedies that we're gonna love. He can do the drama bit, but he always seems to make us giggle.

Steven Russell is happily married to Debbie, and a member of the local police force when a car accident provokes a dramatic reassessment of his life. Steven realizes he's gay and decides to live life to the fullest - even if it means breaking the law. Steven's new, extravagant lifestyle involves cons and fraud and, eventually, a stay in the State Penitentiary where he meets sensitive, soft-spoken Phillip Morris. His devotion to freeing Phillip from jail and building the perfect life together prompts Steven to attempt and often succeed at one impossible con after another.

What's even more interesting about this concept is that it's based on a true story!

I'm gonna struggle watching my Scottish honey-bunny playing a gay man, but I'll probably end up respecting his acting even more, which will in fact deepen my love for him. You see? He can do no wrong.

Personally if I were locked in a cell with Ewan, he'd have some serious problems. In fact, I'd probably break IN to the prison just to hang out with him. Yeah. I'm sick.

Have you heard any new news about this flick? Last I heard it was put on hold and might never get released.. which makes me really sad! I've been looking forward to it FOREVER. Jim Carrey's my secret husband so we have that.
