Johnny Depp is RANGO!

Meet Rango, a cutesy wutsey reptile who is sure to steal your heart! Here's the synopsis:

A chameleon that aspires to be a swashbuckling hero finds himself in a Western town plagued by bandits and is forced to literally play the role in order to protect it. IMDB

We're excited for a number of reasons:

1. Johnny Depp - we love anything that man does.

2. It's a totally original concept for an animated flick; therefore, we love.

3. Gore Verbinski (director of all 3 Pirates of the Caribbean movies) is directing Rango.

For these reasons and more, we're mighty excitey for RANGO! Now, this might be strange, but when I saw the poster for the first time, I immediately thought of Depp in Fear and Loathing  in Las Vegas (1998). Anyone else see it? Let me give you a visual...

He's got that lizardy type head and although you can't really tell in this poster, his character wears Hawaiin print shirts. So ya. Anyhoo. Here's the trailer for this upcoming family flick! We think you'll agree that it looks promising!
