Yes, they went there.
Now, admittedly Paranormal Activity made me wince and whimper like a baby, so I'm excited for the next installment! BUT, I do have reservations about rehashing such a limited format. I mean, how much still camera footage from inside a house can we really handle? Most of it looks the same, so they better have new ideas on how to freak the shit out of us.
According to this trailer, they've added a barking dog and a baby in a crib, so let's hope they're holding back something from this clip.
Did Paranormal Activity scare you? What do you think of a sequel?

Look at it closely. When the dog pricks up his ears and looks towards the door and the rocking chair is rocking on its own and the little kid stands up in his crib? Look at the reflection in the mirror. No little kid in the crib in the reflection. Then when "Katie" comes in check the mirror again - in the REFLECTION there's a kid in the crib but not in the actual crib in the room.
WTF? Am I wrong?
And the first PA scared the SHITE out of me although my sister thought it was hilariously not scary.
The first one scared my daughter to death and she couldn't sleep for days. She brought it to me to watch (she knows I love anything paranormal) and I have to say I wasn't the least bit impressed or scared.
Veg- We're totally with ya - scared the shite outta us too!
Ms. Anthropy - We could have used you in our basement the night we watched it. It wasn't helpful that we were both completely freaking out...
..it scares me...
