Tantalizing Trivia: The Happening

At the end of The Happening (2008), Jess is heading off to school. In the scene she is wearing a 'Last Airbender' backpack and her school bus displays the number 2010 on the front. Pretty cool. Shamalama was advertising his next film!

This explains a lot.. like at the end of Hook (1991), Peter Panning returns from Neverland with a T-Rex in his backpocket. Spielberg was letting us know Jurassic Park (1993) was coming. Or the final scene in Chasing Amy (1997) when you catch a glimpse of a giant rubber poop monster in the mirror.. Kev was giving us hints that Dogma (1999) was on the horizon... Or in Edward Scissorhands (1990) - Ed carves the bat symbol into a shrub as the camera is pulling away. Blink and you'll miss it.

Just watch. You'll notice all these hints for upcoming flicks!


UPDATE: After I learned that Angie thought these were all true, I should clarify - I was just joking. Only the Shaymalan was true. Sorry to have mislead anyone with my failed joke.
