Geoff LaTulippe Gives us Breathers: A Zombie's Lament

We totally know people in Hollywood... Remember when we told you we're kind of a big deal cause screenwriters message us? Geoff LaTulippe, writer of Going the Distance (2010) wrote to us once upon a time. He said we're effing hilarious (Lord knows we're clinging onto that one)...

Geoff's a genuis. A funny genius, not one of those boring, tortured ones. He writes about zombies falling in love and stuff. And he's super famous too.

Geoff let us know he had an upcoming project, a rom-com, featuring zombies. After shitting our pants, and re-reading the email several thousand times, we rejoiced in the news! A rom-com with zombies?! Huzzzah!! It really doesn't get any better than that. For realz.

Here's a little synops:

Andy Warner is a zombie, having reanimated after a fatal car wreck that killed his wife, orphaned his daughter, and left Andy disfigured and unintelligible. Reviled and discriminated against by a society that no longer considers him human, Andy is an outcast. He spends his new existence watching cable television in his parents’ wine cellar and attending Undead Anonymous meetings with other zombies, where he finds kindred souls in Rita and Jerry. After they meet Ray, a rogue zombie who introduces them to the joys of consuming human flesh, Andy embarks on a journey of self-discovery that leads to a media-driven, class-action lawsuit on behalf of the rights of zombies everywhere. S.G. Browne is responsible for the 2009 novel of the same name. Hilarious concept. Can't wait to see how Geoff brings this puppy to life! We cannot wait for this flick!
