Friends With Benefits & No Strings Attached - Two Rom-Coms I'll Pass On...

On one hand we have Justin Timberlake and Mila Kunis playing friends who decide to bone (sorry Mom) in Friends With Benefits, coming July 2011. How much you wanna bet it goes like this:

We're friends. We're lonely. Let's screw. It's weird. This was a mistake. I realize I love you. The end.

On the other hand we have No Strings Attached (coming January 2011), starring Natalie Portman (what are you thinking, girl?!) and Ashton Kutcher. Groooaann. Both IMDB write-ups look identical, and there's no need to probe further into the plot, because there's really nothing there. See my above description if you wanna know what No Strings Attached is about.

How much you wanna bet that somewhere studio execs are kicking themselves because they made the exact same movie as their competition, at exactly the same time, with the same level of bankable stars? Ouch.

Your thoughts?

You know what these movies remind me of? Those teachers who know that the two midterms are on the same day but they decide to be jerks & not care that they are double piling it on us. hehe. I'm going to see the first one because it's rated R. The other will be on USA before ya know it! =P

your assessment ... " We're friends. We're lonely. Let's screw. It's weird. This was a mistake. I realize I love you. The end." is totally brilliant. I so need to pass on these too.

Mel, you're right, i hated those jerks! I think they laughed together in the teachers lounge, all evil-like, you know - MUA HA HA!

Myra, thanks! You know I'm right, that's exactly what they'll be like. Seriously, go look on IMDB, the write-ups are like 2 words different.
