Striking Similarity: Cabin Bats

Here's another moment that will make you go "these chicks have too much time on their hands."

In The Great Outdoors (1988) the family panics when they realize there's a bat in their cabin. Everyone frantically runs out, and the men are expected to go back in and take care of things. Dan Aykroyd and John Candy dress up, wave objects around, and basically... shenanigans ensue.

In Black Sheep (1996), perhaps in homage to the aforementioned cabin-bat scene, they encouter a bat of their own. Chris Farley and Davivd Spade are absolutely hilarious with their contraptions and little-girlish fear of the flying rodent. Observe.

The Bear bouncing on the door with Candy underneath is still my favorite scene.
But the whole movie was just hilarious!
