Come Back Funny Man...

While checking out Ryan Reynolds IMDB page I noticed a very distinctive pattern. All Ryan's upcoming flicks involve FBI/CIA/Cops or comic books. What up Ryan? Are you done with the Rom-Com/Comedies? I miss you in these roles. You're my super-hunky Canadian funny-man.

R.I.P.D. (2012)

A recently slain cop joins a team of undead police officers working for the Rest in Peace Department and tries to find the man who murdered him. Based on the comic by Peter M. Lenkov. IMDB

Most Wanted (2012)

An FBI agent trying to escort a criminal suspect is ambushed and the pair are forced to go on the run together. IMDB

Safe House (2012)

When a group of villains destroy a CIA-operated safe house, the facility's young house-sitter must work to move the criminal who's being hidden there to another secure location. IMDB

Deadpool (2012)

The movie's script is still in development but will be based around the character of Wade Wilson, a mercenary with terminal cancer who undergoes military experiments in an attempt to replicate Wolverine's mutant healing factor. This results are mixed as Wilson's ability to regenerate wounds is greatly increased (mimicking the abilities of Wolverine) but his mind is fundamentally fractured, leading to his multiple personalities and ability to break the fourth wall of narrative within storytelling. Similarly his skin is ridden with blisters and sores as a bi-product of his massively accelerated healing factor. He eventually leaves the Weapon X program and becomes a mercenary for hire, earning himself the pseudonym; "The Merc with a Mouth". IMDB

What up Ryan - get back to being funny.

Deadpool will probably be pretty funny. He's always been one of the funniest comic book characters, so, at least we'll have that. And now that ScarJo is out of the picture, maybe he'll go back to the RomComs!!!

I'm just amazed he can film 4 movies all for 2012, then again if he's playing the same character each time... Maybe he's filming them simultaneously...hmmm
