The Oranges = Another craptacular-sounding turd of a movie

You all know we loooove the recent slew of Rom-Coms. It's a shame most of them crash and burn, it really is. Here's one that I think might do just that...

The Oranges, coming in 2011, will star Leighton Meester, Hugh Laurie, Catherine Keener, Oliver Platt and Adam Brody. The premise is the same old, very blah with a predictable premise.

Here's what I found over at Wikipedia - Read it all the way through and then pleeeease tell me how this was found acceptable to publish on the site.. YIKES:

Nina Ostroff (Leighton Meester) doesn't know, but coming back for a Thanksgiving dinner after five years will turn her family's and the Walling's friendship upside down. Living across the street from each other both families seem to have been friends forever. After Nina broke off with her fiancé (Sam Rosen) the two families are silently hoping that she might fall in love with Toby Walling (Adam Brody). But an unexpected interest arises for David (Hugh Laurie) the father of Toby and it's the same with him. As the attraction between the both of them gets too obvious to ignore, the both families are facing a hard time. Wikipedia

Whatevs. I'll see it (though NOT in theaters) and I'll probably watch it repeatedly.

That's it. I'm giving up on the film industry.
