Striking Similarity: Famous Last Words

In a weird and random Striking Similarity, I'd like to introduce you to two baddies who had exactly precisely identical last words. Both of which turned out to be fairly true, as their respective stories go.

Exhibit A: The Mummy (1999)

Imhotep, the high priest, is cursed and buried alive in ancient Egypt. We find out later in the film that his last thoughts/words were carved into the inside of his sarcophogous.

"DEATH IS ONLY THE BEGINNING"

This turns out to be true when Imhotep is resurrected to wreak havoc on our heros.

Jump to 2:20 to see the discovery of his poetic las moments.

Exhibit B: Sherlock Holmes (2009)

The evil Lord Blackwood has a similar thought process before he is hanged. Wait, not similar... identical. Which also comes to fruition when Blackwood continues to murder people after he is hanged and it turns out... well, just watch the movie.

2:55 mark for his deep thoughts.

I love both movies. Mark Strong is such a great villain. When I watched Sherlock and he said those last words, I was all "IIMMHOOTEP!"
