Edward Cullen is dead (yes, he's already dead, but for realz now) as Pattinson gears up for Cosmopolis

This is it Rob. We're on a first name basis - deal with it. You've been Edward for a few years now. Sullen, poetic, mysterious, emo. I love you, then I hate you, then I love you again, then you and Bella read poetry in the field and I vomit in my mouth a little. The Twilight Saga is wrappin' up and you need to put your big boy/human pants on now. Time to see what you've got Pattinson:

Cosmopolis is the story of Eric Packer, a 28 year old multi-billionaire asset manager who makes an odyssey across midtown Manhattan in order to get a haircut. The stretch limo which adorns the cover of the book is richly described as highly technical and very luxurious, filled with television screens and computer monitors, bulletproofed and floored with Carrara marble. It is also cork lined to eliminate (though unsuccessfully, Packer notes) the intrusion of street noise. Cosmopolisfilm

This is what you're following Twilight with? Hmmmm... Ok, I'm a little hesitant, but I'm listening. You did a few little flicks in between the mega-blockbuster installments, but I dare the Cin-Obs to name me one without referring to the trusted IMDB. I don't mean to sound harsh, but c'mon. The one role that made you a ridiculous celebrity (quit tugging at your hair, I know this makes you uncomfortable), may now be the one thing that destroys your career.

We'll see how you do. I can picture you as a multi-millionaire. Oh wait, that's because you are. Still, I'm remaining hopeful cause I think you gots da chops babe. When you're done you can pass on some tips to Mr. Potter and let him know 'how to'/'how not to' survive a franchise.

I like Rob, but I've seen his film before Twilight he's not in another league compared to anyone in the franchise. That is with a few exceptions, being Michael Sheen, Billy Burke, and Anna Kendrick. Daniel Radcliffe is doing well for himself, so I don't know what your talking about there. He's actually widening his career with a current role on Broadway that is nothing like Potter. Rob on the other hand, has yet to really expand pass brooding and sullen.

I think what she's referring to is that Dan will have even more of a type-cast character to break out of, seeing as there are more HP movies. For Dan it was a very obvious attempt to get away from a young franchise by taking a Broadway role in which he shows his genitals. Like Anne Hathaway showing her boobs in Brokeback, it's a young actor's way of saying "Look I'm not a kid anymore!" Some of them go overboard. It's a tough move from child-actor to serious adult actor.

We're actually quite excited for Water for Elephants, as I think Rob's character isn't as depressing in that.

I really don't think so, and I'm not talking about that play. The one currently going on that he's getting pretty good reviews for. This is also an attempt away from a franchise he's character is a playboy who sleeps around with many women. Clearly nothing like Edward Cullen. It is tough and Dan seems to be doing fine.

He doesn't seem as depressing, but it's still a love story of him pining away for someone. Still not much of stretch from what I've seen so far.

Cool, I'll look into the other play he's doing. Honestly we love them both. I just can't wait to see what FILM Dan chooses next. It will be an important career move.

He gets brownie points for How to Be.
