Fair Game

Naomi Watts will star in the upcoming 2010 film Fair Game. The movie is about a CIA agent who was outed by a Washington Times journalist, and the blame game for revealing her identity went all the way up to President Bush and Dick Cheney.

Watts will play Valerie Plame, and Sean Penn will play her husband, Joseph Wilson.

And it's all a true story! Plame was investigating weapons of mass destruction in Iraq, and secretly gathering information that was supposed to help Bush's cause. Unfortunately, confidentiality and protocols were broken left, right, and centre, until eventually a reporter caught wind of Plame's true CIA identity.

The movie will be based on Valerie Plame's memoirs, so you just knowz it will be full of juicy government dirt, and we'll get a great idea of exactly how they screwed her over by exposing her.
