Get Him to the Greek

Finally a new idea! Well sort of...

... if you saw Forgetting Sarah Marshall I'm sure you remember Russel Brand's scene-stealing character of Aldous Snow, the rehabbed, overly-sexed rock star who steals the girl (but you kinda like him).

So the new film, scheduled for release in April 2010 is called Get Him to the Greek. The concept is a spin-off (we'll take it, always better than a re-make) of Sarah Marshall, which re-teams Jonah Hill, as a new character, with Brand as Snow. We tend to agree that the dynamic between those two characters was hilarious enough to deserve another film. But then again, we're cinema obsessed, and for us everything deserves a film. Just go with us on this...

... So Hill plays a young employee at a record company, given his big chance to show what he's made of when he is asked to transport the eye-liner wearing, now un-sober Snow to L.A.'s Greek Theatre. We're assuming mayhem ensues.

Another important note is that Judd Apatow is involved with this film too.. it just wouldn't have been the same without him! But we love everything that this gang of actors does. We're easy to please.
