Three Stooges Movie!

Aaaahhh!!! The title says it all! Even though there is no originality left in the world, and studios just keep pulling old concepts out of their cracks, this is a classic that we'd love to see be re-worked, maybe even a modern twist put on it.

Warner Brothers is set to release the film in 2010, with the Farrelly Brothers attached (eeek that'll be gooood) and actors like Jim Carrey, Benicio Del Toro, and Sean Penn. Not the most obvious three actors, but somehow we totally trust it. Jim Carrey, rumoured to be playing Curly, is said to be gaining around 50 pounds to more closely resemble the original actor, Jerome Howard. Now that's devotion to a job. Wait a second... if someone offered me millions of dollars to get fat, I'd be like "Where do I sign?" and "Will you back-pay me for the last 10 years? Because I've been preparing for the role since puberty."

But I digress... Three Stooges is said to be neither a remake, nor a biopic, but a big funny montage of new Stooge madness. Can't wait! Sometimes it's better to go put a new spin on something than to beat a dead horse and try to immitate a classic.

Sooo... this is one project we'll be following closely, and the moment we get our hands on a trailer, or some still shots of actors in costume, you better bet we're sharing it with our cinema obsessed readers. Knowledge is power! Well, maybe this kind of knowledge is useless, trivial, brain-space occupying boloney, but oh well. You want to have something interesting to say when your friends talk about politics in the middle east right?
