Ok, let me fill you in. Gervais plays Mark, a man living in an alternate version of the world in which everyone tells the truth. All the time.

Mark tells the world's first lie, and realizes the amazing amount of personal gain to be had with his new-found ability.

LOVE THIS! And there's something about Gervais' awkward comedic delivery that keeps us wanting more. We're so happy that his career took off in movies, and didn't fizzle out with the UK's The Office. Spread your wings and FLY, RICKY! Ahem, sorry.

The movie also stars Jennifer Garner (blah), Jonah Hill (huzzah!) and Tina Fey (sure, ok). It hits theatres on October 2, 2009.
