Whispers, whispers, whispers... that's all there is right now. But Cinema Obsessed can confirm that Dimension Films has bought the rights to a remake of the original Short Circuit (1986). And so far they've said the visual look of the robot won't change from the original! Giddy-up!We bet this was inpired by the recent success (and Oscar win) of Wall-E. Oh well, we heart cheesey robot movies, so bring it on.

LOL. I haven't seen Short Circuit(at least not that I remember) but it looks cute and I hope it gets remake. Now Wall-E...that was awesome!

I never saw Wall-E, but ever since it came out, the only movie it made me what to watch was the Short Circuit movies. I'm excited! Eeeee!
