Why Did I Get Married Too?

Are you kidding me, Tyler Perry? Are you fridging kidding me?

No... no... this can't be true. Tyler 'Hooray I'm rich and overproducing' Perry just doesn't know when to quit. He used to be sorta kinda funny. The kind of funny where you just go "Hmm" when you see him in a dress. No big deal. We were never huge fans of his, but he totally lost us with Madea Goes to Jail (2009). *He jumped the shark. Big time. (see note)

Why Did I Get Married? was another one we snored at and had no reaction to. Not necessarily for the content, but for the fact that he just can't stop spitting out these comedies. He should wait til he's got something new and creative. Take a break, Perry!

Why Did I Get Married Too? is expected to be released on April 2, 2010. We won't be marking the calender for this one.

*note - 'Jumping the shark' is a term created from the series 'Happy Days'. When Fonzie surfed up a ramp and jumped over a shark, the audience was disappointed and the show went steadily downhill. 'Jumping the shark' has now become a common phrase to describe when a tv or movie series makes a mistake that loses its audience. It has peaked and is now crashing and burning.
