Cowboys and Aliens

The graphic novel (fancy talk for comic book) is coming to Hollywood! Yeehaw!


The premise of the movie is basically that aliens come to invade Earth and take over... but since it happens to be in the Ol' West, the cowboys (with help from the Native American tribes) are the ones to take 'em down.

We think it's a great spin on the alien invasion concept. So true... it always happens now, or in the future... but what if it had happened in the past? Wicked idea. We also know this will be another addition to the 'hybrid film' genre, mixing live-action with animation, CGI, and maybe some animatronics.

The rights have also been bought to make the sequel.. Aliens and Dinosaurs, in which Aliens come to Earth a bit too soon and have to fight off the T-Rexes. Just kidding.

But seriously, Aliens and Cowboys should be gooood. You just KNOW there's a scene involving UFO's and a lasso. OH and definitely an old west shoot-out scene... only the alien will have a laser gun. Pew pew! That's our zap gun sound effect.

Dreamworks will be producing the film, and Robert Downey Jr is in talks to star. Swoooon... oh RDJ, you can do no wrong.
