Will Ferrell and Marky Mark are "The Other Guys"

Will Ferrell and Mark Wahlberg star in the upcoming buddy cop flick The Other Guys (coming in August). In another rummage through the couch cushions for movie plots, filmmakers thought we needed another mismatched zany cop team. Yawn.

Although the trailer features some funny moments, you can be sure you'll get lots of cliché jokes, odd-couple humour, and Will Ferrell shouting almost everything.

You'll also get some tasty Dwayne Johnson and a lil' bitta Samuel L. Jackson, as the straight-laced hero cops.

Some other notable peeps to appear in this film are Michael Keeton (he's apparently the king of "no" when it comes to scripts, being very selective about his roles, so this is interesting), Eva Mendes, and apparently Paris Hilton. Huh? Whatever.

Director Adam McKay is behind this project so we have to have a little faith, since he's given us such Ferrell gems as Step Brothers (2008), Talladega Nights (2006), and of course - Anchorman (2004).

I'm not a huge Will Ferrell fan, but the combo of him and Wahlberg might be pretty interesting.

How are some people not Will Ferrell fans? This is the first I've heard of this! I can't wait to see it!

My guess is that as Keeton gets older, he feels the need to increase his repertoire of actors for his personal goal of being no more than 3 degrees from Kevin Bacon.
This movie seems like a must do for him considering the other players involved. Personally i think the best he'll do is 4 degrees, but that's just my opinion.
