Danny McBride Stars in 30 Minutes or Less!

Danny McBride, one of our newest favie comedians, is starring in a whole buncha new films, like Your Highness (a midievil comedy).

While perusing his future projects, we noticed this one - 30 Minutes or Less.

IMDB, fill us in: Two fledgling criminals kidnap a pizza delivery driver and force him to rob a bank within 30 minutes.

Interesting concept indeed! And also getting our blood pumping is the rest of the cast! Jesse Eisenberg, Aziz Ansari, and Nick Swardson! Lots of budding talent in this ensemble! Booyeah!

As much as we love McBride when he plays total losers, we're kinda waiting for him to play a real loveable hero. Not sure he'll ever be a rom-com leading man, but come on - does he always have to play a total douchewagon?

30 Minutes or Less is coming in 2011, and this mash-up of fast food and film gets me thinking... *smirk*... about some other possible scripts I might start writing:

Special Sauce - [fantasy] a young inventor strikes it rich with a recipe for a magical sauce that makes even the crappiest food taste like your most favourite things

Finger Lickin' Goodfellas - [animated] two rebel chickens bust out of the slaughterhouse and go on the run together.

6 Inch or Footlong - [drama] the story of a sub shop employee who haphazardly falls into the porn industry after an interesting catering gig.
