Exceptional Escape: The Fifth Element

I don't think I could love a movie more than I love The Fifth Element. It has everything my Cin-Ob heart could ever want - aliens, fights, singing blue divas, flying cars, Bruce Willis, cruise ships that fly, etc.

This scene was always a favie of mine, in which Korben meets Leeloo for the first time, and decides to help her go on the run. The music that accompanies this Exceptional Escape is awesome, pay attention to that too.

Anyways the cops are after then in this wild ride through futuristic New York City and you get to see tons of fun sci-fi stuff - cars, buildings, and even McDonalds. I always liked the idea of people living at certain levels. Why do they always do that in sci-fi? Regardless, it's cool how they escape into the foggy under-layers of the city which seem to have succumb to some unknown disaster.. and the peeps of the future live above. Love it! Ok, I'm a dork. Whatever, that's ok.

Big Badda Boom. Lol.

This movie is such a great example of good science fiction... and Bruce Willis at his best.

Plus, Milla Jovovich is pretty damn awesome too.

I agree, this chase scene is pretty damn epic, especially with Leeloo's frantic gibberish in the back of the cab while Korben is trying to ourtun the cops. I'm gonna go watch this film again, methinks.
