Dibbuk Box... Sam Raimi Continues to Make Me Require a Nightlight

Ghost House Pictures and Sam Raimi are (possibly) bringing us Dibbuk Box in 2012. What is a Dibbuk Box? It's a mofo scary box, that's what. Duh.

(FYI - That picture is sooo not a cat lurking in a box, but an evil, EVIL curse waiting to torture your soul.)

I couldn't find much on this title, but I just had to bring it to you guys, what with Halloween around the corner and all. I have to say I'm a huge Sam Raimi fan. He's more than dabbled in the horror world and scared the poopy outta me on more than one occassion.

Boogeyman (2005), 30 Days of Night (2007), The Grudge (2004) and The Grudge 2 (2006) are some of the titles Raimi has produced that have in turn made me produce pants full of shite. I apologize that this is the second day in a row I've talked about my pants/undies being filled with caca. You guys don't deserve that.

I'm off track. So Dibbuk Box has a teeny weeny descripsh on IMDB... BUT... it only took one little sentence to perk my interest:

A family is haunted by a box that contains an evil curse.

Done. A family? Box? Evil? Curse? What more could one ask for. Ok ok. I may be getting ahead of myself, but if the curse-related shenanigans a.k.a. terrifying moments resemble those featured in The Grudge (2004), then I'm doomed to several weeks of sleeping with the light on. Yes folks, I'm scared easy.

By the way Sam - thanks A LOT! I now have phobias of attics, long black hair, and Asian women in the background of photos.

Die hard horror fans are a hard bunch to please. They demand nothing but the best. But, as you all know, we don't discriminate. We're all over the map with our tastes. We love the taste of cheese... old cheese, new cheese, sliced cheese, cheese whiz (which is not even real cheese technically), so there. We're looking forward to more info on this one Sam. Keep 'em comin'!

Sam Raimi can do no wrong when it comes to horror. Even when the scares aren't that scary (Evil Dead II) you've got yourself a kick ass black comedy, so it's win win. I'll be looking forward to getting scared by this :)
