Silent Hill: Revelation 3D

I have a confession. I LOVED Silent Hill (2006). Stop scoffing at the computer and deal with it. The imagery was frickin' scaaaary - like armless faceless dude who walks all effed up, or those goddamn horrifying nurses, or big helmet head hammer skirt wearing dude.. who by the way, was totally ripped off in Resident Evil: Afterlife (2010). I am one of 2 people I know who loved it. I'll give you one guess who that person is...

Anyways, the new movie focuses on the creeptastic little girl, all growed up.

Heather Mason and her father have been on the run, always one step ahead of dangerous forces that she doesn't fully understand, Now on the eve of her 18th birthday, plagued by horrific nightmares and the disappearance of her father, Heather discovers she's not who she thinks she is. The revelation leads her deeper into a demonic world that threatens to trap her forever. [IMDB]

Despite my warm and fuzzy (or terrifying and frightening) feelings toward this video-game adaptation, I will admit I'm not too keen on a sequel.

UPDATE: The trailer we posted turned out to be fan-made or some crap.

Regardless, did you guys like the first one? How do you feel about a second?

The guy singing Happy Birthday was so obnoxious that I wanted to throw the computer out the window.

That isn't a real trailer, that's from the movie 'They' isn't it?

Emily - you are correct. Hadn't seen "They" so didn't realize this was some fan-made boloney, LOL!

Actually, the "big helmet head hammer skirt wearing dude" is actually called Pyramid Head from the original Silent Hill 2 game and has been part of the Silent Hill universe since 2001, nine years before Resident Evil: Afterlife came out. Just saying.

And if you take a look at the actual trailer they just released, you might be a little more open to the idea of a sequel. ;)
