2012

Ooooohh... I almost can't handle movies like this. I'm too gullable. Once I see it, I'm sure I'll think the end of the world is coming.

Oh wait... let me fill you in... 2012 is an upcoming Columbia Pictures project, to be released worldwide on November 13, 2009, based on the unfortunately-popular belief that the apocolypse is coming in the year 2012. This was prophesized by the ancient Mayan calender. It's causing a minor freak-out because the Mayan's were known to be insanely accurate about astronomy, physics, and things we don't understand HOW they knew with such primitive science. But in the end, they've been right about almost everything. And their calender abruptly ends in 2012. Ooooohhh freaking out yet?

So John Cusak, Amanda Peet, Woody Harrelson, and some other big names star in this "what might happen" version of events. I can tell already by the preview that I'm going to start saying my goodbyes to friends and family after seeing it.

Watch the teaser-trailer... and prepare to cac yourself.
