Dinner for Schmucks

Steve Carell. Paul Rudd. Need we say more?

Our cinema obsessed mouths are watering for Dinner for Schmucks!

These two are a perfect pair, a dazzling duet, a tantalizing twosome... OK... enough with the alliterations, right? Aaaand I'm back.

This remake of the French comedy Le Diner de Cons (1998) is about a weekly dinner party held by a successful Paris publisher and his friends. Each guest is required to bring a complete and utter blockhead... ya know, a bonehead, cretin, dimwit, dork, dumbbell, dunce, fool, ignoramus, imbecile, jerk, kook, moron, muttonhead, nincompoop, ninny, nitwit, pinhead, simpleton, stupid, tomfool, twit (thank you thesaurus.com).

The guests are encouraged to talk and talk and talk about themselves throughout the evening. Once the fools have left, the guests vote on who brought the winner (or loser depending on how you look at it).

This entrée is sure to tickle the tastebuds. C'mon, how could it go wrong? Imagine who they could cast as some of the 'special' guests!

Ahem... reservation for two on July 23, 2010... uh, yes, under CinemaObsessed.com please.
