Pirates of the Caribbean 4: The Curse of too many Sequels

Hahaha just kidding. The rumoured title of the fourth installment in the Pirates series is Pirates of the Caribbean: The Fountain of Youth.

Yeah ok... if anyone needs to go back to its youth, it's this series... back when the films were original and fun. And back to a time before they ruined the series by getting greedy and overproducing, making a third movie that left audiences going "HUH?"

Cinema Obsessed readers recently voted on our poll and decided they should STOP making more movies in the series. I guess Hollywood wasn't interested in our little home-made focus group. Jerks.

Depp has signed on for the new film (careful Johnny, your thespian rep is on the line here, don't ruin it!) but it is rumoured that Keira Knightley and Orlando Bloom have passed on the project. This adds further speculation that Fountain of Youth will SUCK BIG TIME. When the actors don't come back, even with a name like Depp attached to the script, it's time to stop producing.

Aww hell.. guess we'll have to see it anyway. Just watch... we're gonna love it and have to eat our words. We'll print a retraction in 2011 when the movie comes out...
